Lv Houmin, honorary committee member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) and counselor of Chinese Photographers Society died of illness in Beijing Hospital at 0:36 on March 9th, 2015.
Mr. Lv at the age of 88 decided to donate his remains to the hospital before his death, which reflects the light of humanity's own sharp sense of integrity. Farewell, Mr. Lv!
As a well-known photographer, he took a large number of precious photos of China’s first generation of leaders, including scenes where leaders met and shook hands with guests, and their life photos which allow us to see different images of great men.
Mr. Lv once worked as the professional photographer of Mao Zedong, which provided him a chance to follow the great leader up close and experience many significant historical moments. The photos taken by him have become an important carrier to display leaders’ image as well as served as a loyal recorder of history.
