Everyday · The wilderness of time

Theme Explanation:

According to the interpretation of Paraphrasing Texts and Words (China’s first book written by Xu Shen that systematically analyzes Chinese character glyphs and sources and one of the earliest dictionaries in the world), “RI” means “day” and “SHI” means “season”. In 2019, starting with the theme of “Young People’s Time”, we hope that under certain time span, images will become a presentation of young people’s feelings in the real world and reflection to their unique discoveries, records of their lives, unique experience and life expression...

Our group exhibition attempts to draw a speculation that where will the Youngs who are walking on the current social timeline head for? What will be the cost? Are they challenging or hesitating? Is the Internet giving us wealth or consumption? Are they devoted to consumption and pleasure or valuing and bravely exploring feelings inside of their hearts?

It will not be an encounter with burden, for every youth has its value and reason as an existence. It is a one-way journey that cannot be duplicated!

Finally, please view this collection campaign as a rest stop in life journey, where each participant might as well stop, think and then start again.
